Information Resources Group

The Information Resources Group (IRG) is responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining the systems required for allocation and account management at NCSA. The group also developed and maintains the XSEDE proposal submission and account management tools along with a trouble ticket system used by the NCSA and XSEDE helpdesks. IRG staff are also involved in the development of the account management system for Blue Waters. These systems include user front-end applications and the supporting database infrastructure.

IRG coordinates the allocations and account management working group for XSEDE and works closely with Allocations support staff at NCSA and other XSEDE service provider locations.
