Grid on the Go
How will science and commerce change as computing and communications become ubiquitous? Join the nation's leading minds from the public and private sector as they explore the research challenges ahead at the "Grid on the Go" conference.

The Grid on the Go workshop is focused on the uses of wireless devices (portable digital assistants (pdas), cell phones, sensors) and their intersection with digital infrastructure (the Grid) research. Nationally renowned speakers will discuss the impact of these devices on academic scientific research and the private sector while highlighting technical and policy challenges.

Location: NCSA, University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign
Sponsors: The Grid on the Go workshop is sponsored by NCSA and ERDC Major Shared Resource Center PET Program.

Registration: There is no registration fee for the conference. However, registration via the on-line form linked to above (see registration tab above) is mandatory to participate in the meeting. This applies to all participants including NCSA Staff and UIUC faculty.

Logistics: The workshop will be held at the Holiday Inn in Urbana, Illinois. Lodging for the event is available at the conference hotel (Holiday Inn) or other local hotels. Hotel registration will be handled via the on-line registration form referenced above.
