International Workshop on High-Performance Reconfigurable Computing Technology and Applications (HPRCTA'08)

Submissions are solicited on a wide variety of topics related to the field of high-performance reconfigurable computing (HPRC), including but not limited to:

  1. Architecture of high-performance reconfigurable computing devices and systems
  2. Languages, compilation techniques, and tools for high-performance reconfigurable computing
  3. Libraries and run-time environments for high-performance reconfigurable computing
  4. Performance modeling/prediction and benchmarks for high-performance reconfigurable computing
  5. Algorithms, methodology, and formal methods in application development for HPRC
  6. Applications of high-performance reconfigurable computing in science and engineering
  7. Trends and the latest developments in the field of high-performance reconfigurable computing.

Full-length papers up 10 pages are solicited. Authors should submit PDF documents electronically to Submissions are due Sept. 15, 2008. Submissions should be prepared in the IEEE proceedings format.

All papers selected for this workshop will be peer-reviewed. The authors of accepted papers will be scheduled to present their work in one of the technical sessions. Workshop proceedings will be included in the IEEE Digital Library, and the best papers presented at the workshop will be considered for inclusion in a special issue of the ACM Transactions on Reconfigurable Technology and Systems (TRETS).

Presentation preparation instructions

Each presentation will be 20 minutes long with few additional minutes for questions. A MS Windows PC with PowerPoint software will be available for presenting the slides. We would like to make all presentations available on-line on the workshop's website. Please email a PDF version of your presentation to before the workshop.
