The workshop will be held at the NCSA Building on the Urbana-Champaign campus of the University of Illinois, 1205 W. Clark St., Urbana.
Please note that Clark St. is a one-way street running west to east.
What is the closest airport?
Willard Airport (CMI) is the closest commercial location.
Other nearby airports are: Indianapolis International Airport (IND), Indianapolis, Indiana; O'Hare International Airport (ORD), Chicago, Illinois; and Central Illinois Regional Airport (BMI), Bloomington, Illinois.
Accommodations
A block of rooms has been reserved for workshop attendees at the nearby Hampton Inn, 1200 W. University Ave, Urbana. When reserving, mention that you will be attending the infectious disease workshop. The Hampton Inn can be reached at 217-337-1100.

Meals
Meals that will be provided for workshop attendees include:
- Thursday, Sept. 7: Continental breakfast, buffet lunch, evening reception with hors d'oeuvre reception
- Friday, Sept. 8: Continental breakfast, boxed lunches
Parking
Some metered parking is available on Clark Street and in the parking garage, both directly in front (north) of the NCSA Building.
Please note that Clark St. is a one-way street running west to east.
Internet Access
Will there be Internet access at the conference?
Yes, but a log-in and password are required to access NCSA's wireless network. Please note when registering that you would like wireless access; a login and password will be provided at check-in for those who have requested access.
Access Grid
This workshop will be available via the Access Grid, and attendees in the Washington, D.C. area can participate remotely from the Access Center. Call 703-248-0072 for information.
Local Area Entertainment
The Champaign County Conventions and Visitors Bureau provides information on things to do and see in Urbana-Champaign. The local arts organization 40 North/88 West also lists local music, theater, and arts happenings.
The Krannert Center for the Performing Arts offers a variety of musical and theatrical entertainment.
There are myriad dining options in Urbana-Champaign. If you'd like to walk a few blocks to downtown Champaign, you can find Chinese, Thai, fusion and sushi restaurants; coffee shops and a bakery; bars offering burgers, pizza, sandwiches, salads and munchies; a traditional Italian restaurant and an Italian wine bar; a late-night diner; and a fine-dining steak-and-seafood restaurant.
