Embassy Suites Hotel La Posada de Albuquerque Registration When making reservations, be sure to identify yourself as an attendee of the Richard Tapia Celebration of Diversity in Computing Conference. Sleeping rooms will be held for conference attendees until September 18, 2005 unless the block fills prior to that date. Please be aware the room block fills quickly, so we suggest you make your hotel and travel plans early. Reservation requests received after 5:00 pm local time at the Hyatt Regency on September 18, 2005 will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis. Your reservation is not confirmed until acknowledged in writing by the hotel or verified by phone. Welcome ReceptionWhen making your reservation, remember that the Welcome Reception is scheduled for 8-10pm on Wednesday, October 19, 2005. Additionally, there will be a Student and Scholarship Recipient Orientation from 6:30pm to 8:00pm on Wednesday preceeding the Welcome Reception. The orientation will be a valuable experience for all students and will provide necessary information for scholarship recipients to receive reimbursements of expenses. Deposit/CancellationsAll room requests require an advance deposit or credit card to guarantee the reservation. Should a guest desire to cancel their reservation, their deposit will be refunded in full if they notify the Hotel at least seventy-two (72) hours prior to scheduled arrival date. Credit cards will not be charged until actual check-in or late cancellation. Remember to get a cancellation number!
