The program for the Symposium on Application Accelerators in High-Performance Computing (SAAHPC'09) has been announced and is available online at: http://www.saahpc.org/agenda.html.
SAAHPC'09, which will be held July 27-31, 2009, in Urbana, Illinois, will bring developers of computing accelerators such as GPUs, FPGAs, vector processors, and other technologies together with users to exchange ideas and learn about the latest developments in the field. Researchers from a wide range of science and engineering disciplines will describe their experience with various architectures, and representatives from industry will share details about their technologies.
The program also includes keynote talks by Intel's Pradeep Dubey, a senior principal engineering for Massive Data Computing, and Robert J. Harrison, leader of the Chemical Sciences Group at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and a chemistry professor at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
The SAAHPC'09 agenda is subject to change. Please check the website for agenda changes, or sign up for our newsletter by emailing tlbarker@ncsa.uiuc.edu.
Online registration for the symposium is now open at http://www.saahpc.org/register/. Registration for the two-and-a-half-day event is just $75, with a discounted $50 registration rate available for students. For travel and hotel block details, see http://www.saahpc.org/travel.html.
SAAHPC'09 is organized by NCSA and the Institute for Advanced Computing Applications and Technologies, both at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and is sponsored by the Arctic Region Supercomputing Center, IBM, Intel, Mitrionics, Nallatech, and OpenFPGA.
