Copyright Information

If you would like to use one of the images included in NCSA's online image database please download the our copyright permissions form (Adobe Acrobat .pdf), fill in the required information, and fax the form to Trish Barker, NCSA Public Affairs, at 217.244.7396.

If you have found an image on the NCSA website that is NOT included in the image database, please fill out the copyright permissions form with a full description of the image, including the URL where it can be found. It is helpful to include a fax of the image with your request. Please indicate whether or not you will need a digital image file and include the desired resolution.

Please note that many of the scientific visualizations used on NCSA's website were produced by and are the property of the researchers who employ NCSA's cyber-resources. NCSA cannot grant permission to use these images.

There are licensing fees associated with the use of some animations, videos, and high-resolution scientific visualization created by NCSA. Requests to use, publish, or broadcast these images will be referred to the University's Office of Technology Management.
