August 13-14: Heading for Darkhan

We left Khovsgol and began our journey to Darkhan.

We spent the night at the ger camp we'd stayed at on the way to Khovsgol. The same sweet young woman took care of us there, making our fire and bringing hot water.

The next day we passed through an area that had very old carved stones, including a deer stone so encircled in silk prayer cloths we couldn't see it, and one that Sharijov and Frank unwrapped (bringing us untold bad karma).

We also spotted two camels near a rural guanz (canteen) that was complete with hanging sheep carcass. Dana and Ursie took a ride.

We camped one last time on the night of the 14th and enjoyed a great sunset, and a herd of horses made their way by.
