I joined NCSA in July 2001 after completing my Ph.D. in computer sciences at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While at UW-Madison, I was a research assistant for the Condor project. My UW-Madison homepage lists my Ph.D. research publications. I'm a member of The Americas Grid Policy Management Authority, the InCommon Technical Advisory Committee, the CIC Identity Management Taskforce, the Globus Security Committee, the Association for Computing Machinery, the Electronic Frontier Foundation, and the UIUC Association of Academic Professionals. I was one of six employees to receive the 2006 Chancellor's Academic Professional Excellence award. I was profiled in the Five in Focus section of the NCSA Access magazine Summer 2006 issue.
