GridChem: GridChem, a TeraGrid Science Gateway, allows convenient access to cyberinfrastructure for the computational chemistry community. NCSA's partners in GridChem include the University of Kentucky, Louisiana State University, the Ohio Supercomputer Center, and the Texas Advanced Computing Center.

Institute for Chemistry Literacy and Computational Science: NCSA is working with the Department of Chemistry and the College of Medicine at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, four Regional Offices of Education, and school districts and chemistry teachers throughout to develop the Institute for Chemistry Literacy and Computational Science for the 21st Century. The Institute will strengthen teachers' and students' understanding of chemistry and how chemistry applies to the world around them; instill a sense of confidence in teachers about their ability to teach chemistry, with a special emphasis on computing and visualization; enhance traditional high school chemistry curriculum; nurture the sense of community among research faculty and high school teachers; and create a cadre of educational leaders who will advocate for excellence in math and science.

Materials Computation Center: NCSA works closely with the University of Illinois' Materials Computation Center on a coordinated effort involving education of future computational materials scientists, knowledge-transfer activities associated with active research, networking of researchers and students with the active worldwide community, and the creation and distribution of useful tools for research and applications to challenging problems.
