IBM LoadLeveler for AIX 5L: Using and Administering
This books contains the following sections:
- LoadLeveler overview gives an overview of LoadLeveler functions and describes how
LoadLeveler works. Part 1 also gives a brief description and references
for LoadLeveler daemons and job states.
- LoadLeveler interfaces introduces the three LoadLeveler interfaces and gives an
overview of the Graphical User Interface. Part 2 also summarizes the
commands and APIs used in those two interfaces.
- User tasks describes how to create and submit serial and parallel job
command files.
- Administrator tasks describes how to perform administration tasks, such as
configuring LoadLeveler, gathering accounting data, and routing jobs to
NQS.
- Detailed descriptions provides reference information for keywords,
daemons, commands, APIs, and procedures.
- The appendices contains sections with examples, case studies, and
information on troubleshooting LoadLeveler.
A glossary and index are also included.
Users of LoadLeveler should, at a minimum, become familiar with LoadLeveler overview, User tasks, and LoadLeveler interfaces. Administrators
should, at a minimum, become familiar with LoadLeveler overview and Administrator tasks, and may find it helpful to read Troubleshooting LoadLeveler.
