Information for TeraGrid Users
Abe is co-allocated with LONI QueenBee and Purdue Steele
systems (AQS resource). QueenBee will be available until July 31, 2011 and
Steele until July 2013.
TRAC awarded projects that utilize only Abe of the AQS resource and are not up for renewal by July 1, 2011 may move their remaining allocations primarily to Lonestar (TACC) or Trestles (SDSC). Those who use Queen Bee and/or Steele need not move their allocation at this time. Projects that utilize Abe only and their expiration date is after April 15 but before June 30, 2011 may remain on the Queen Bee/Steele resources of AQS or request a transfer to the resources listed above.
Other TeraGrid resources requested will be evaluated on availability and need.
Startup awards on the AQS resource that expire after July 31, 2011 may move their remaining allocations to Steele (Purdue), Lonestar (TACC), or Trestles (SDSC). For those awards that expire before July 31, please utilize Steele or Queen Bee if possible. If not, a transfer to one of the remaining TeraGrid resources may be requested.
Allocations on the NCSA Mass Storage System (MSS)
will retain their expiration date. For continued access to MSS beyond
the current expiration date,
you may request a independent MSS allocation via POPS for resource NCSA Tape Storage.
