Compiler Upgrade

                   Default Compilers Upgraded
                          March 8, 2006

The default compilers have been upgraded from version 8.1 to 9.0.
If you have problems running programs, please try recompiling.
If you continue to have problems, please send email to NCSA's
Consulting Office at consult@ncsa.uiuc.edu.

You may use the original compilers by adding the softenv key for
the 8.1 compiler to your .soft file both before and after the
@default line:

+intel-compilers81
@default
+intel-compilers81

Then enter "resoft" or log off and back on again.

Please report any problems with the default compilers to NCSA's
Consult Office so we can report them to Intel.
