GNU Utilities

The GNU C compiler gcc, as well as many other GNU utilities, are
available from /usr/ncsa/bin. 

Note for gcc users: since the native compilers have been fine tuned
for this architecture, we recommend that you use them instead of gcc
to compile your code.
