Compiler Upgrade

                   Default Compilers Upgraded
                          May 11, 2005

The default compilers have been upgraded from version 8.0.066 to 
8.1.030. If you have problems running programs, please try
recompiling. If you continue to have problems, please send
email to NCSA's Consulting Office at consult@ncsa.uiuc.edu.

If you have problems with the new compilers after recompiling,
you may use the original compilers by adding the following
line in your .soft file before the @default line:

+intel-c-8.0.066-r1-patched

Then log off and back on again.

Please report any problems with the default compilers to NCSA's 
Consult Office so we can report them to Intel.
