Accounts, passwords, quotas, limits
Your UniTree login is the same as your NCSA production machine and/or
staff login.
UniTree uses Kerberos passwords, so your UniTree password is the same as
your NCSA production machine and/or staff AFS password.
To change your UniTree password, on any NCSA Production machine, type:
% passwd
Note: Since UniTree uses Kerberos passwords, the above command will
change your Kerberos password.
There are no UniTree quotas in place
There is no limit on the size of a UniTree file.
You have read-only access to your UniTree account for 4 months after your
last NCSA Production machine account has been deleted.
You can access UniTree directly from your local computer using the
kerberized
ftp client to mss.ncsa.uiuc.edu. Information on downloading kerberos is
available at the
Installing Required Encryption Software page.
