The following command line options are not available in version 8.0
Beta 1.
-C and variants for run-time checking (except -CB)
-dyncom for dynamic common

(3)
The drivers ifc invoke the ifort driver silently and use
the ifort environment instead of the environment and configuration
from the version 7.1 (or prior) releases.

(4)
version 8.0 uses more run-time stack for array-intense applications
than version 7.1 (and prior) did;  it may be necessary to increase 
the run-time stack size in order to execute such applications

(5)
The Intermediate Language (IL) in Intel Compilers are versioned.  
When different objects compiled by Intel Compilers with a 
different date stamp, the objects may not link.
