 NCSA's Help Desk is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year: To facilitate the transition from Copper to another NCSA HPC resource, please check the table on the CFD Software page. The only CFD users who will be affected by the transition from Copper are those who are using Fluent, Fidap and Gambit on Copper.
We do not plan on moving everyone of our Fluent users from Copper to Cobalt. It is important to note that those users who have been using Gambit on Copper to generate their grids will not have this option on Cobalt. They can generate their grids, using Gambit, only on Tungsten after Copper is retired.We recommend that users who currently run Fluent, Fidap and Gambit on Copper transfer their allocation to Tungsten. Any questions regarding transitioning to Tungsten should be sent to flow.
Users who want to run Fluent or Fidap on Cobalt are encouraged to contact flow. Also, please feel free to drop flow a line if you have any other questions concerning the Fluent suite of CFD packages or other general CFD related questions. |
