Driven Cavity Flow

NCSA visualization worked with Arif Masud from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana in the field of Civil and Environmental Engineering to visualize new multiscale and stabilized finite element methods for calculating flow properties in a chamber. Visualization work included volume visualization using NCSA's custom renderer and several different visualization scenarios using Paraview showing both scalar and vector quantities from the simulation. This work was especially helpful in assisting the researchers in identifying and improving aspects of their computational simulation.
