NCSA @ EOH 2019

Can you imagine how researchers are using supercomputers to challenge and change the future of science? We can! The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) wants to give you a behind-the-scenes look at the machines and research advancements in science during the 2019 Engineering Open House! NCSA’s events are happening on Friday, March 8 and Saturday, March 9. The event is family-friendly and fun for all ages.

Stop by NCSA on Friday, March 8 from 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. to see innovative research from NCSA students, faculty, and staff, including 4k scientific visualizations from our Advanced Visualization Laboratory, free screenings of our documentaries, Seeing the Beginning of Time, and Solar Superstorms, gravitational wave signals emitted by black hole collisions in real-time, and computer clusters being built on-site!
