Q&A: Illinois allocations on Blue Waters

Blue Waters is one of the world’s fastest computing systems. Each year that Blue Waters is in operation, up to 13 million node-hours will be allocated to projects from the University of Illinois. This resource provides Illinois faculty and staff with a unique opportunity to perform groundbreaking work in computational science and engineering. If you have questions about the capabilities of Blue Waters and how they could be used for your research, or if you have questions about how to write a successful proposal, come to a Q&A about Blue Waters at 2:30 p.m. Friday, Sept. 6 at the NCSA Building, 1205 W. Clark St., Urbana. Project Director Bill Kramer and other NCSA staff will be available to answer your questions, and light refreshments will be provided.
