Registration now open for Linux Clusters Institute Workshop on HPC fundamentals

Registration is now open for a weeklong hands-on workshop that will cover the fundamentals of setting up and administering a high-performance computing (HPC) cluster. Offered by the Linux Clusters Institute (LCI), this workshop will be led by some of the world's leading HPC experts and will be held Aug. 4-8 at the National Center for Supercomputing Applications in Urbana, Illinois.
LCI is the premier international forum to share information on management, administration, and scientific computing techniques for high-performance computing. Topics at the August workshop will include Intro to HPC, Build-A-Cluster, Condo Model, and Remote Visualization. Attendees should have experience as an administrator of a Linux system.
Expert instructors will include: Neil Bright, Georgia Tech; Ryan Cox, Brigham Young University; Stephen Harrell, Purdue University; Brian Haymore, University of Utah; Wayne Hoyenga, NCSA; Henry Neeman, University of Oklahoma; Preston Smith, Purdue University; Jenett Tillotson, Indiana University; and George Turner, Indiana University.
