Illinois faculty invited to apply for NCSA fellowships

Faculty at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign are invited to apply for the National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) Faculty Fellowship program, which provides seed funding to support demonstration or start-up projects, workshops and other activities.

The fellowship program is intended to catalyze long-term research collaborations between campus academic/research units and NCSA that will address problems of national significance that require deep cooperation between multiple disciplines and the application of cutting-edge and future technologies in computation, data, networks, software and visualization. Fellows will play an integral role in planning and developing such activities.

Complete details about the fellowships program, including how to apply, are available at http://www.ncsa.illinois.edu/about/org/fellowships. Applications are due by April 15, 2014. For more information or to discuss ideas for proposals, contact Jay Roloff at jayr@illinois.edu.
