NCSA industry conference to highlight business and government breakthroughs

Registration is now open!

The National Center for Supercomputing Applications (NCSA) is excited to announce the 2017 NCSA Industry Conference which will take place October 11–12 on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus.

This year’s conference provides attendees with the opportunity to experience the transformative power of high performance computing and big data as we showcase how the NCSA Industry Program is giving industry and government a competitive edge. Attendees will also get an exclusive look at new resources and collaboration opportunities, the chance to network with business leaders and domain experts, meet the future generation of HPC experts at our student reception, and hear several ground-breaking success stories of how NCSA is enabling computational breakthroughs and changing the world again.

Keynote speakers include John Kuzan, Research Manager at ExxonMobil, who will speak about the record-shattering breakthrough we made together this past spring and NCSA Director Bill Gropp, who will deliver a keynote on the future of innovation with high-performance computing.

“Our partners have shared that they want more opportunity to network, collaborate, and share about HPC. As a result, we have shaped this year’s NCSA Industry Conference to showcase real, substantive results presented in open sharing sessions. You’ll hear from our partners and domain experts, in many cases together, talking about results and how they addressed challenges of massive scale,” said Director of NCSA Industry Brendan McGinty. “We’re very excited to showcase the successes we’ve had so far and to reveal new opportunities we have on the horizon.”

Exclusive partners-only day: October 11
Open audience day: October 12

Day one of the conference is exclusively for current NCSA Industry partners. Day two of the conference is open to prospective partners, Illinois campus and community partners. Registration is open now through September 28. Current NCSA Industry Partners may register here, non-partners can register for the October 12 event here.
