About iDSI

The Illinois Data Science Initiative is a collective of people working to bring together data science resources across the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign campus. We’re leveraging existing campus strengths with a new organizational entity designed to innovate in data science: to create, coordinate, launch, and sustain interdisciplinary data science research projects, to train cadres of students and professionals, to build leadership to explore data science research opportunities, and to design programs and applications that address highly visible, significant, insightful problems with global societal impact.
