NCSA to host NVIDIA deep learning workshop

The National Center for Supercomputing Applications at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign will offer a two-day workshop covering the concepts of deep learning. The NVIDIA Deep Learning Workshop will take place April 3-4, 2017 at the NCSA Building, 1205 W. Clark, Urbana, IL.

Workshop capacity is limited to 50 people. University of Illinois faculty, staff, postdocs and students can register for a reduced price of $50, while external participants’ cost is $200.

The full agenda, registration form and travel/lodging information can be found at: http://www.ncsa.illinois.edu/Conferences/NDLW17/.

This workshop is offered as part of the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute (DLI), which offers instructor-led training in deep learning across the country. Instructors cover the fundamental concepts of deep learning, best practices for application, approaches to object detection, deep learning for image segmentation, and neural network deployment. To take full advantage of the workshop, attendees should have some familiarity with Python. Workshop participants must bring their own laptop to the event in order to run the DLI Lab.

Questions can be directed to Amanda Lombardo at alombar@illinois.edu.
