Version 2.1 of NCSA Polyglot released May 5, 2015 Share this page: Twitter Facebook LinkedIn Email The Innovative Software and Data Analysis Division at NCSA has released version 2.1 of NCSA Polyglot, a distributed and highly extensible framework for file format conversions. New features include: emphasis on REST interface re-architecture based on RabbitMQ for Software Server discovery and distribution of jobs stateless head node for robustness and better scalability all files are now passed around as URLs to eliminate the copying of files when possible added support for container formats added support for double formats added DFDL examples added basic authentication added integration tests numerous bug fixes Pre-compiled binaries can be found at: http://opensource.ncsa.illinois.edu/projects/artifacts.php?key=POL.
